Our Executive Team

CEO and Co-Founder

Khary Henry is the President of the non-profit organization Scientiae and a co-founder of Young Engineers Tallahassee, a local STEM enrichment program. He is the son of Jamaican immigrants who have made Tallahassee their home for over fifty years. His father was a local Pediatrician, who was the first black pediatrician in Tallahassee. Having received a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Stetson University.

After completing his degrees, Khary has become a well-known figure in the community. Khary’s passion for STEM education led him to co-found Young Engineers Tallahassee, which focuses on teaching engineering design to students in grades K-12, providing them with the necessary digital competencies to succeed in a STEM career. He also co-founded Scientiae to promote STEM education further and encourage the development of a new generation of engineers and technologists in the Big Bend community. Through his work with these organizations, Khary is committed to promoting innovation and creativity in the community and helping to establish Tallahassee as a hub for technology and innovation.
